Here’s somewhat of a diversion: This is not toy related, but what the hell… I’m allowed other interests, right?

It should come as no surprise that I’m a big fan of British Comedy, particularly the classic sitcoms and sketches from the ‘70s and early ‘80s.

Anyway, earlier this year I finally got around to knocking over a little project I’d had rattling around in my birdcage of a brain for some time: a little tribute to one of the funniest comic duos of all time, Derek and Clive. Or as they’re also known, Dudley Moore and Peter Cook.

I despise political correctness and censorship in all forms. I just need to put that out there. I think any form of speech and thought suppression is utterly evil and dangerous. We live in awkward times where you only have to take one step out of line before some perpetually offended SJW or NPC is hash-tagging your bitch arse into cancellation. Those of us who actually have a spine need to push back against these Millennial dollops and their incessant desire to be outraged. And the best way to do that is through comedy and ideally by offending some people along the way. Pete and Dud knew this, as did the Pythons and many other comics since. Words are just words, they can’t hurt you but they can make you think and most importantly, question.

Anyway, enough of that bollocks, sit back and enjoy my little animated tribute to one of the funniest improvised sketches of all time. And make sure the kids aren’t listening.
