Another from the 2017 A case mainline.

The real life Dodge Daytona and Plymouth Superbird were crazy cars. Mad. These were track designed cars made available in the late ’60s/early ’70s as street-legal, boat-sized hoon chariots.

Here, the Dodge Daytona gets even madder with the Hot Wheels ‘Tooned treatment. Added is the massive chromed motor bursting from the bonnet and the fuck-off huge exhaust pipes running down the side. The wheelbase is shortened and proportions deformed to achieve the overall ‘Tooned look.

Apart from some tampo blemishes on the card side (why are paint and tampo marks always on the non-visible side in packaging?) this is a highly desirable car from the first batch of 2017 releases. Snap one up if you spy it on the pegs
